Farrah Leni Fawcett was born on February 2, 1947, in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA. Farrah Fawcett started her career as a fashion model in the 1960s. Farrah Fawcett rose to international fame for her role as Jill Munroe in the television series “Charlie’s Angels,” which premiered in 1976. Fawcett’s famous swimsuit poster (pictured), featuring her smiling and posing in a red swimsuit, became a best-selling poster and an iconic image of the 1970s. Farrah Fawcett was married to actor Lee Majors from 1973 to 1982. She later had a long-term relationship with actor Ryan O’Neal. Farrah Fawcett passed away on June 25, 2009, at the age of 62, succumbing to complications from cancer.
